Privacy notice

Last updated October 23, 2026

This notice covers joinsatio.com and the Satio iPhone app (“Satio: GLP-1 Companion”). Satio is a sole proprietorship operated by Zivaan. We keep it short because we collect very little.

The website: what we collect

We don’t ask for health information on this site, and please don’t send it to us.

How we use it

We use waitlist emails only to announce Satio launches, such as the Satio iPhone app or Satio Daily Fiber becoming available. We don’t sell, rent or share your email with anyone for their own marketing.

Who processes it

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn’t use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. If that changes, we’ll update this page first.

Getting removed

To be removed from the waitlist, or to ask what we hold about you or have it deleted, email hello@joinsatio.com. We’ll take care of it promptly.

Children

This site isn’t intended for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

The Satio app

Effective October 23, 2026 · Satio: GLP-1 Companion for iPhone (com.joinsatio.app)

The short version: everything you log in the app stays on your iPhone. There’s no account and no sign-in, and no Satio server receives your entries. We don’t collect, see, sell or share your health data, and it’s never used for advertising or marketing.

What the app stores, and where

The app saves the following only in a database on your device:

This data stays on your device unless you choose to export it. If you have iCloud or computer backups turned on, it may be included in your own device backup, which you and Apple control under Apple’s terms.

What we collect from the app

Nothing. The app doesn’t send your entries, usage data, device identifiers, location, contacts or crash reports to us or anyone else. It contains no analytics, advertising, attribution, crash-reporting or social-media SDKs.

Notifications

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone by iOS, not sent through a server. Notification text stays general and never shows doses or symptoms on your lock screen. Tapping “I ate” on a meal reminder opens Satio and saves the check-in on your device. You can turn reminders off in Satio’s Settings or in iOS Settings.

Export and sharing

When you tap Export CSV or PDF summary, Satio creates the file on your device and opens the iOS share sheet. You decide where it goes (Files, AirDrop, Mail, your clinician). Once you share it, that copy is handled by whoever or whatever app receives it.

Links

The app shows everyone the same optional “Shop” card linking to our Etsy shop and joinsatio.com. It’s never triggered or personalized by anything you log, and you can hide it in Settings. Links open in your browser, and those sites have their own privacy policies.

Deleting your data

Because we never receive your app data, there’s nothing for us to delete on our side.

Your privacy rights

Satio is built so that we don’t collect or process consumer health data. Where laws such as the Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada SB 370, Connecticut’s consumer health data provisions or the California Consumer Privacy Act apply, we honor them: we don’t collect, share or sell consumer health data, and we don’t use it for advertising. We won’t change this without updating this notice and asking for your consent in the app first.

Not medical advice

Satio is a personal log. It doesn’t provide medical advice, and it never calculates, suggests or adjusts a dose. It isn’t a medical device. Talk to your doctor before changing your medication, dose or diet. Satio isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any medication manufacturer.

Children

The app is intended for adults 18 and older and isn’t directed to children. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Future features

If we add optional paid features, purchases will go through Apple. Apple handles payment details, and we’d receive only the anonymous purchase status needed to unlock features, never your health entries. We’ll update this notice before any change in what’s collected.

Contact

Questions or requests about the app or this notice: hello@joinsatio.com. Please don’t email us health information.

Changes

If we change this notice, we’ll update the date at the top. For material changes to the app section, we’ll also tell you in the app.
